We roast all our beans on-site in one pound micro-batches. Your special order beans can be in your hands, still warm, in less than an hour.
Coffee beans can lose flavor pretty quickly especially when you are buying week old (or older!) beans.

OUR "Calico" ROAST

Each bean origin has its own distinct and subtle qualities. Careful roasting enhances these flavors and allows them to reach your pallet. The darker roast covers much of these flavors but adds richness to the taste.
With this in mind, all Molten Java beans are prepared using our own "Calico" Roast. Both dark and medium roasts are blended after roasting to bring out all of the best characteristics of each origin.

In addition, the beans are roasted in one pound micro-batches and blended after cooling to preserve the myriad flavors.
